AVP/Consumer Lender
651-462-7618
With FSBW Since: 1994
The details: As you enter the bank, you will probably see me in the corner office. I have been with the bank since 1994. My main area is consumer lending, which consists of auto and most types of personal lines of credit. I enjoy working with people and helping them with their needs. My interests are pretty basic: family, faith, and farm.
I come from a farm background and still have a small hobby farm near Scandia with horses & chickens, and on which my wife and I have raised nine kids. Summer on the farm gets very busy for us, but we still try to attend a few car shows with our “oldie.” Fall, which is one of my favorite seasons, sees things tending to slow down and I can get to do a little hunting.
ContactProudest moment at FSBW: My proudest moment was when one of our boys was very sick – deathly ill, in fact. The bank was very supportive and offered whatever time I needed. I also know the bank has done this for a number of other employees, as well. It is so reassuring to know that when we call ourselves a “Work Family,” that is what we truly are.
We are the biggest “little independent” bank in the county, which I am proud to be a part of. Being independent, we can still help people with things the larger institutional banks won’t. Many of our customers have come to us after not having their needs met.
The roots of the bank run deep in the community – most visibly through its employees and charitable support to many local needs.

My hobbies include arts & crafts and spending time with my family. I love driving around Minnesota and trying to locate all the obscure roadside attractions that are found in my “Weird Minnesota” book… I have been known to make a four-hour drive last all day! It all pays off in the end, because I have many pictures of my kids throughout the years, standing next to some big loon, boot or other random statue. Priceless!
I like to make people laugh. I usually don’t care if it is at my expense. If someone catches me singing at the top of my lungs and it gives them a chuckle: good! We are both smiling, then. My husband lovingly calls me “gooney bird.” …I am not a very gullible person, but one day he told me that the grocery store had gooney bird ice cream and I believed him. And know you know. If you have to give us a call at 651-462-7611, we’ll see if I can’t find a way to make you laugh, too!
