Hometown banking comes from our roots
First State Bank of Wyoming has proudly served Wyoming, Minnesota and the surrounding community since 1914 when E. R. McClintick (Mac), with the help of a group of prominent citizens, organized the Bank. As a “full service” bank, it has provided friendly, personal and courteous service to the community.
Myles Giese became President in the 1970’s. His dedication to integrity and personalized service laid a foundation that would thrive across generations. Myles was followed by his daughter Bea and her husband Myron, whose leadership not only preserved the values he instilled but also expanded the bank’s reach and reputation. Together with their experienced staff, they nurtured a culture that placed relationships before transactions, and innovation at the heart of growth.
Today, the tradition continues with Mark and Tim, Bea and Myron’s sons, leading with forward-thinking vision and an unwavering commitment to being the bank of choice — exceeding customer expectations every step of the way. Their approach blends modern technology with the warmth of small-town service, ensuring every customer feels valued, heard, and empowered.
From one generation to the next, the mission remains the same: build trust, serve with excellence, and grow together with the community.
